01/2012: Food & Beverage International: AEB reports successful implementation of EMCS solution at Marston's
Food
& Beverage International has published the press release announcing
that Marston's is using AEB's EMCS solutions on 9th January 2012. With
AEB’s EMCS||XPRESS, Marston’s is now using an easy-to-use web-based
software solution that makes submitting and tracking EMCS movements
simple and affordable and doesn’t require any investment in IT
infrastructure. The system went live in May 2011 and currently serves 24

AEB's recent UK management change press release. Effective 1st July
2011, Claire Umney has assumed the role of General Manager of AEB
(International) Ltd in Leamington Spa, while Mark Brannan has moved on
to the corporate role of International Business Development Director.
Claire’s business development plan includes expansion of current staff

07/2011: IFW: Round-Table Report on Improving Supply Chain Security
In
Spring 2011, IFW organised a round-table discussion on the topic
"Improving Supply Chain Security" and the report has now been published
in July 2011. Taking part of the discussion were representatives from
the Freight Transport Association, the Road Haulage Association, SBS
Worldwide, Boxtrade Intelligence and Mark Brannan with AEB
(International) Ltd. After last November’s attempt by terrorists to
ship explosives onboard an aircraft headed for the US, gaps in supply
chain security procedures began making international headlines. But

06/2011: Supply Chain Europe: Trends in Warehouse Management
Supply Chain Europe has publsihed a full article by Gursh Atwal in their May/June 2011 issue on "Trends in Warehouse Management". Gursh elaborates on the major developments in global warehousing during the past ten years, which have reflected changes in global trade. The biggest change is the emergence of the East - in particular China and India - as the principal manufacturing base for the global economy, serving a pool of mostly Western customers. The consequence of Western companies choosing to outsource to China and India has been the proliferation of supply chains that cover a much larger geographical area. 06/2011: IFW: Freight Cost Management Systems - the key to Cost Savings

Management Systems - the Key to Cost Savings" in their 3rd June 2011
online edition. As per Gartner Research 2010 and the Aberdeen Group
2008, up to 10% of a company’s average freight costs for procurement
and distribution can be saved through transport consolidation and
