The AES concept
The European Automated Export System (AES) is designed to simplify export processes within the European Community. AES combines the 27 national customs systems through which exports can be declared electronically. AEB is your central point of contact if you wish to benefit from a centralised system for processing exports, including in other EC member states.The principle:
Work in the main system – Customs declaration through the local experts in each EU country.Although all the export systems within Europe need to “talk” to each other, you still have to work within your own national system. Nothing will change in the way you process orders, however. You follow your accustomed workflows, and AEB teams up with its reliable partners to connect the national export systems.
The AEB partners are Customs experts in their respective countries and always guarantee a link to the Customs office that fulfils the legal requirements. You don’t need to worry about changes and updates to the various national systems, and you’ll have qualified customer support personnel that can answer your employees’ questions in their own language.
Directly within SAP®
AEB offers the integrated AES solutions for SAP® users as part of the software package ATC :: Export Execution. This lets you control your global export processes centrally from within your SAP® system. The clearing is carried out in the AEB computer center. The data is automatically forwarded to the relevant AES clearing partner, and AEB assures the excellent quality of service.System integration
The AES project is still evolving. AEB also continues to work toward complete international integration of export processes in one system. The partner integration currently allows the creation of export declarations in EU member states and beyond.
