ATC :: Compliance Screening

Increased regulatory compliance and better risk management for your business. How you can be better, faster, and more secure thanks to automated, accurate, and comprehensive sanctions list checks of all business partner addresses in your SAP® system.

The Challenges of the Modern Trading Enviroment

Anti-terrorism legislation governing foreign trade poses new challenges for global enterprises. Due to the increased emphasis on security in the supply chain, SAP® customers need to be responsible for their own compliance with these rules and restrictions. Government agencies around the world have published lists of individuals, companies and organisations they believe to be engaged in terrorist activities. Some of these lists run to hundreds of pages and manual checks of denied-party lists are time-consuming, impractical, and prone to error.

AEB’s Solutions for Companies Operating  SAP® Systems

AEB develops integrated solutions that allow global players to minimise risk and achieve the highest standard of regulatory compliance. The ATC : : Series meet this demand for all enterprises running an SAP® system. These ATC solutions are not merely traditional add-on solutions but are based instead on open standards such as Web services and integrate seamlessly into the standard SAP® processes and user dialogs.

To meet the challenges posed by the current political environment and recent anti-terrorism legislation, ATC :: Compliance Screening provides automated real-time checks of addresses held in the SAP® system.

Secure distribution processes in SAP®

ATC :: Compliance Screening secures the distribution process directly in your SAP® system. The screening is carried out in the background without slowing down business processes. All partner roles listed on sales documents are checked in real-time against relevant denied-party lists.
The system works invisibly in the background and monitors the complete flow of documents in the order management process, from order creation to delivery, transport and invoicing. All the addresses of the various partner roles - consignee, bill-to party, forwarder, payer, bank, customs declarant - are checked as they are created and whenever any of these address fields is modified.

Every master data record, whether it's being created or modified, is automatically checked. Existing addresses of all vendors and customers are checked via batch processes and any positive matches to the lists will be automatically locked within SAP preventing further processing until an administrator has investigated. The persons responsible for export control are notified via SAP® work item and e-mail.
