ASSIST4 Warehouse Management has all the features you need to manage warehouses and distribution centres: goods receipt control, site and yard management, inventory monitoring and slotting optimisation. All internal goods movements are transparent, and error resistance is built into the initiation and execution of the picking process. Integration with ASSIST4 Transport and the other modules yields even greater performance and quality throughout the supply chain execution.
DC TopoLogy
ASSIST4 maps any type of warehouse or distribution centre: storerooms, transfer storage facilities, distribution centres, modular shelf systems, revolving shelf systems, pallet shelves, bulk storage facilities, free warehouses, high-bay storage areas, small parts warehouses and many more. Each bin location is memorised and can be identified down to the shelf or tray level, so that the system contains a 1:1 mapping of your actual warehouse. It’s even possible to map hierarchical warehouse structures - for example, if a warehouse includes one or more sub-warehouses but you still need higher level or cumulative inventory information.
Intake-Grity
ASSIST4 Warehouse Management supports the entire goods receipt process: from the receipt of pallets and warehouse utilities to material and quantity checks, returns handling and optimal storage bin placement. ASSIST4 even handles steps such as repackaging, palletisation, labelling and QA testing to ensure an error-free basis for all warehouse data.
Warehouse Cockpit
All inventory is transparent. All goods movements are monitored. ASSIST4 Warehouse Management monitors all warehouse orders down to the level of the individual transport order. Bin and resource capacity utilisation is visualised here in real-time. Even communication with the material flow computer that controls automated storage and conveyance technology is monitored. Effective search tools like the Stock Cockpit also give you continuous real-time visibility of stock levels in the various warehouse locations all the way down to the material level.

You even have a mobile connection to forklift control systems. Auto ID technologies such as bar codes and RFID enable continuous control of the material flow.
IntelliCount
Everyone needs to take physical inventory, but it doesn’t have to be a headache. ASSIST4 Warehouse Management handles the counting but lets you determine the method: periodic inventory, continuous inventory - even sample-based inventory, where permitted under law. You can choose between physical inventory based on the material or the bin.
Auto Replenishment
ASSIST4 gives you great flexibility in controlling replenishment - which is particularly helpful where fast-moving items are stored and picked. This completely automated feature ensures that your stock never falls below a defined minimum level. Fast-moving merchandise is flagged early on and automatically replenished before it can run out. The result is more efficient warehouse processes, with significantly streamlined picking and replenishment control as a manageable, ongoing standard process. ASSIST4 Warehouse Management even lets you implement VMI solutions.
Perfect Picking
It doesn’t matter whether you prefer one-phase picking based on a
resource-guided pull principle, two-phase picking in batch runs or
picking optimised by zone, time or quantity. You can even employ a
combination of the various strategies. Document-free picking is
supported by applications for mobile recording devices in the same way
forklift control systems are. ASSIST4 Transport seamlessly integrates
the subsequent process transition to packaging and loading.
HU Handling
Dividers such as pallets, crates or work-piece holders are of tremendous importance in facilitating the storage and handling of warehouse goods. ASSIST4 Warehouse Management plays just as important a role by allowing unlimited management of merchandise and dividers within handling units. Handling units and ASSIST4 HU Handling accelerate your warehouse processes, whether you use dividers to combine warehouse merchandise or to protect your warehouse goods by manipulating conveyance methods or affixing information.
Cross Dock
ASSIST4 Warehouse Management supports all modes of direct cross-docking (especially items with a fast turnover) and, together with ASSIST4 Transport Management, offers the necessary execution tools to efficiently cross-dock merchandise for immediate onward shipping. Since ASSIST4 supports both processes - picking and consolidations - you have the option of either one-phase or two-phase cross-docking.
Work-Force-Balancer
How you deploy your workforce in the warehouse is critical for the
performance of your warehouse processes. ASSIST4 has various tools to
help you adapt your resource planning to actual conditions so you can
respond quickly even to unanticipated fluctuations. This yields constant
transparency in the capacity utilisation of the picking and packing
workforce. Spikes in demand are identified early on through resource
planning, making it possible to respond proactively. Above all, this
provides the flexibility needed for prioritised control of order
